INTRODUCTION
 
The Golden Belt organising committee are proud to present the Sixth edition of the most prestigious International Tournament in Italy and Europe; This year will also be even more prestigious as we are introducing the First Intercontinental Cup. The date of our event has been reschedulled due to the clash of dates.

The main event will be held on the evening of Saturday 8th May in which the most highest of calibre of kickboxers in the world will be participating in an idea firstly originated by by various people like Chuck Norris etc.  We will host the  TPF – Total Point Fighting.

Coming off the wave of interest events like WCL - WTC have/had in America has raised huge success with the public, for the first time in the world, the TPF tournament will be displayed which is a different concept.  With an impressive musical sound system and a known music group, there will be live music from the biggest hits of Italy’s most famous singer Vasco Rossi, which will be played during every entrance of the teams participating entering the specifically built round area which is the only one in Europe.

The location of the event is the Palavaiilant, a unique structure in itself, with a length of 60 meters, wide 30 and with a height of 23 metres. There is a space of 1800 squared metres that hosts concerts, sporting events, shows and manifestations of every kind with a staff of 1600.  It is based in a centre of “Fiumara”, where there are ample commercial centres, shops, parks and a cinema.

Like every edition, this sixth edition brings along a huge following of spectators, athletes and a very interested media group.  The event was  well publicised during the two most prestigious international tournaments of the year:

Athens Challenge – a high calibre international tournament in which high calibre teams participate and also has a large number of junior competitors. With Master Nicos Memmos in the lead.

Irish Open – This the biggest tournaments in the world, held in Dublin and organised by the biggest promoter in Europe Mr Roy Baker, whom is also partner and part organiser of our event.

We have already confirmed teams from Ireland, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Germany and Austria. There will also be confirmation soon of teams from the USA and Canada.

We are seriously convinced that our sport can transmit to the future generation aspects of discipline, informative values and educational views.
Promoters of the event as well as Coni, Comitato Regione Liguria, WAKO, F.I.K.B and the Comitato REgione Liguria, Unicef Comitato Provincia di Genova that this sport will help children all over the world.

The technical sponsor of the event is SAP Fighting Tribe, the leader of martial arts products and director of SAP Fighting Tribe, Master Alfonso Pio Sgarro has always put the needs of the fighter first and has put a lot of time and effort in promoting our sport by ways of discipline, honour and respect for one another.
